To support a gentleman to access his local community and provide respite for his wife.

Duties Include:
? To support service user to attend his allotment;
? To possibly take service user out in car for short journeys;
? To go for walks with service user;
? To befriend the service user while his wife has respite.

This list is not exhaustive and may change according to the service user’s needs.

Person Specification:
? Experience of working in dementia is preferred;
? You must have an outgoing personality that is able to make jokes of situations;
? A Car Owner is preferred as the service user enjoys going for short journeys;
? You should have patience;
? You should be flexible about working hours.

You will be paid £8.00 per hour for 4 hours each week. These hours are to be worked flexibly.
You will be paid every four weeks. You will be entitled to 23 hours paid leave each year.
