SUPPORT WORKER FOR YOUNG MAN IN THE LONGRIDGE AREA

Job Description

To support a young man in the Longridge Area on a Saturday

Duties Include:
? To support the service user with social activities, such as, walking, shopping, trips out ie. museums, castles
? To befriend the service user;
? To support the service user to maintain his independence.

This list is not exhaustive and may change according to the service user’s needs.

Person Specification:

? Experience of working in the Care profession is desirable;
? You must be extremely patient and be able to use your initiative;
? You must be reliable and trustworthy;
? You should have a person centred approach to support work.
? You must be flexible and able to work extra hours to cover other members of staff when required

Desirable Specification

? An understanding of Dyspraxia

You will be paid £7.50 per hour with a possibility of an increase after a three month probationary period for 4.5 hours each week, the working pattern will be discussed at the interviews

You will be paid every four weeks.

You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave a year.
